Eleven days out: REO opens its new site ahead of the November 16 design reveal
The new reotrucks.com is live: manage your reservation yourself, reserve faster, and see specs and starting prices for all three Runabouts. The designs follow on November 16.
The new reotrucks.com went live this morning, eleven days before the Runabout designs are revealed on November 16.
At a glance
- REO's new website is live at reotrucks.com, rebuilt from the ground up.
- Reservation holders can now sign in with just their email to see their reservation, switch trucks or cancel for their $25 back.
- Every reservation made on the old site carried over with its place in line.
- Each Runabout has its own page with specs and a starting price: the T4X work truck from $21,500, the T4C crew cab from $25,000 and the S4C SUV from $28,500.
- The designs, by frankstephenson design, are sealed until November 16, when they are revealed on reotrucks.com and across REO's social channels.
- REO has taken more than 40,000 paid reservations, and reservations remain open for a fully refundable $25.
Dallas, Texas
REO has launched a new reotrucks.com, built from scratch to make reserving a Runabout, and keeping track of that reservation, simple.
“We rebuilt the site the way we're building the trucks: simple, honest, and it works. Your reservation is yours to manage, the specs and prices are out in the open, and on November 16 you'll see exactly what you're lining up for.”
Zach De Bernardi
Founder and CEO, REO
Your reservation, in your hands
Reservation holders can sign in at reotrucks.com with the email they reserved with. There is no password: REO sends a sign-in link. From there they can see their reservation, switch between the T4X, T4C and S4C at any time, or cancel and get their $25 back.
Every reservation made on the old site carried over with its place in line, so there is nothing to do to keep it.
Every reservation also comes with a personal referral link to share with friends and family. Referral credit and rewards follow the Rewards Program Terms.
A faster way to reserve
Reserving takes one page: pick a truck, or pick later, enter an email and pay $25 by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Link. The $25 is fully refundable until a Purchase Agreement is signed, and if you buy, it goes toward the truck.
The trucks, in numbers
Each Runabout now has its own page with its specs and starting price. All three share one body-on-frame platform with a gas I4 engine and mechanical four-wheel drive. REO's engineering targets include 5,000 lb of towing, 22 to 25 mpg combined and 500 to 600 miles per tank.
Starting estimates are $21,500 for the T4X work truck, $25,000 for the T4C crew cab and $28,500 for the S4C SUV. Specs are engineering targets, subject to final validation.
A rebuilt shop
The REO shop has been rebuilt too. Orders can be checked at reotrucks.com/shop/orders or from a signed-in account, with tracking once an order ships.
Built for phones, and for privacy
Most visitors reach REO from a phone, so the site was built for one first. Visitors choose what the site may collect when they first arrive, and a browser's Global Privacy Control signal turns off advertising cookies automatically.
November 16
The Runabout designs, by frankstephenson design, are sealed until November 16. That day they are revealed here at reotrucks.com and across REO's social channels, on Instagram at @drivereo and on X at @reoindustries. Until then, the homepage counts down.
Reservations are open at reotrucks.com/reserve for a fully refundable $25.
About REO
REO is one of the oldest names in the American auto industry. Ransom E. Olds, the founder of Oldsmobile, began building REO cars in Lansing, Michigan, in 1905, and the REO Speed Wagon that followed in 1915 is widely considered an ancestor of the modern pickup truck. The company built vehicles in Lansing for seven decades, until 1975.
The REO brand returned in 2026. Based in Dallas, Texas, and led by founder and CEO Zach De Bernardi, REO is developing the Runabout, a lineup of simple, reliable and affordable trucks designed around right to repair and built to be driven, maintained and repaired for decades. The T4X work truck, T4C crew cab and S4C SUV share one body-on-frame platform and will be built in Texas. REO would like to thank the R.E. Olds Foundation, the R.E. Olds Transportation Museum and the REO Club of America for supporting the revival of this historic brand.
